Background
Maps, publications and databases listed here were produced by the Yukon Geological Survey (YGS) and it's predecessor, the Yukon Geology Program (YGP). Prior to devolution of the Northern Affairs Program to the Government of Yukon on April 1, 2003, YGP publications were produced by Exploration and Geological Services Division (EGSD), Mineral Resources Directorate, Yukon Region, Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (DIAND). These publications are now owned by the Government of Yukon, but still retain their DIAND wordmarks and original look. The publications also include a variety of authors from companies and agencies who have been supported by the YGS and YGP.
