Charlie Roots - Sekwi, NWT

Charlie Roots is assisting with field mapping in a regional mapping and metallogenetic study of the Mackenzie Mountains north of Macmillan Pass, a project run by the Northwest Territories Geoscience office. The finding will benefit the Yukon because the rocks there extend along strike into the Yukon (northern Wernecke Mountains). Interest by industry in the results of this work is commonly accessed from the Yukon side of the Mackenzie Mountains, to the financial benefit of Yukon communities.
