Diane Emond
A/Head, Technical Services
Diane has been with the Yukon Geological Survey and previously Exploration and Geological Services Division since 1983. She started as Staff Geologist, then went on to Environmental Geologist, followed by Publications Manager, and is now Acting Head of Technical Services. In her current position, she oversees publications, the website and other technical services (e.g., GIS) of the Yukon Geological Survey.
Diane has a M.Sc. from the Ottawa Carleton Geoscience Centre (1985), and H.B.Sc. from the University of Ottawa (1982). Her M.Sc. thesis focused on a tin property in the Oliver Creek area (EPD claims). Following that she studied other tin-tungsten deposits and occurrences and their related granitic intrusions in the McQuesten River area.
