Aubrey Sicotte
Aubrey is a Geological Spatial Database Administrator at the Yukon Geological Survey (YGS). In this role, he manages the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for the project geologists, as well as coordinating with other GIS professionals in territorial and federal departments. His main responsibilities include managing the spatial and non-spatial databases that the department uses, developing and maintaining the web-mapping applications and supporting the YGS staff with their projects.
He graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) with a B.Sc. in Natural Resources Management with a minor in GIS and Remote Sensing (RS). After UNBC, he graduated from the Centre of Geographic Sciences (COGS) with an Advanced Diploma in GIS (with honours).
